


















































The rules are designed to specify matters related to the operation of the Editorial Committee for Journal of the Korean Society for Precision Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the “Journal”), which is created according to Article 43 Clause 1 of the Enforcement Regulations of the Articles of the Korean Society for Precision Engineering (hereinafter referred to as the “Society”).
A. The Committee is composed of an Editor-in-Chief as Chairman and a few members appointed by the President as recommended by the Editor-in-Chief.
B. The Editor-in-Chief is appointed by the President as recommended by the Board of Directors.
C. The Editor is appointed by the President as recommended by the Editor-in-Chief.
D. If needed, one of the Editors may be appointed the Vice Editor-in-Chief.
The Committee conducts duties related to the planning, editing, and publication of the Journal, reviewing papers, and the development of the Journal, for which the regular Committee is held.
A. The Editor-in-Chief represents the Committee and assumes general responsibility for tasks such as the planning, editing, and publication of the Journal, paper review, and the development of the Journal.
B. According to Article 3 of the Rules, the Editor-in-Chief convenes the Committee regularly and presides over it.
C. The Editor-in-Chief reports matters requiring important decisions to the Board of Directors.
A. The Editor conducts the planning, editing, and publication of the Journal, reviewing papers, and the development of the Journal and serves as those in charge of the procedures for paper review.
B. The Editor participates in the regular Committee as specified in Article 3 of the rules and deliberates and discusses the tasks related to the editing and publication of the Journal.
A. The Editor-in-Chief‘s term of office is 5 years with possible extensions.
B. The Editor’s term of office is 1 year with possible extensions.
C. The Editor’s year of service is from January 1 through December 31.
The Rules go into force as of October 7, 2011.
The Rules go into force as of April 10, 2015.
